Sand Resources has an outstanding track record since 2002 in providing Interim Managers and contractors to deliver complex application implementations and major cost cutting projects for the Department. These have been multi-site, UK wide projects involving multiple suppliers and with £mm budgets.

Throughout 2009 our Interim Managers helped deliver a business migration programme covering HR, Procurement, Business Continuity and Support disciplines.

Sand Resources has been heavily involved in the National Programme for IT being developed by Connecting for Health. We have been involved in a broad cross-section of programmes including: information security; clinical leaders; pathology development and patient implementation.

Project and Change Managers from Sand Resources have been working with CSH to deliver DataWarehousing and Measurement Systems Projects plus RiO upgrades to enhance the recording of clinical activity. Our consultants have also provided data analysis to create and maintain their information environment.

For the last 2 years we have sourced PR, Marketing and Communications interims for the NHS Institute within their Service Transformation team providing marketing and communications support to the NHS Institute´s highly regarded "Productives" Series.

Sand Resources assisted the Information Centre in database and web services rationalisation which included improving database resilience, implementing formalised secure data handling plus website monitoring and web rationalisation through the creation of suitable architecture and functionality.
