2011 an early view

It is apparent that the UK economy grew throughout 2010 and whilst the start of 2011 may be hard to predict, I believe we face a much better medium term outlook. We know that there was a slowing in the pace of economic recovery towards the end of 2010 and we expect this to continue into Q1 of 2011.However, we have noticed a consensus amongst economic forecasts that investment and trade will pick up in the private sector, which will hopefully accelerate in the second half of 2011 leading to the creation of new jobs.

Although recruitment may have reduced by 30% from 2001 to 2010, we now believe that there will be growth in 2011. A market recovery is on the cards, driven by an increase in job seekers and employers hiring to meet their increased demand.
